Constantly work on improving and formalizing your process. Without a process you have nothing. Without a process there is no measurement.

What you do, how you do it and why that is important to you is all that matters. Make improving the experience of your fans as pleasurable as possible.
You are better off with 10 people who are passionate about you than you are with 100 people who are not fully engaged.
