Blog 347: "I Sell What Every Advisors Sells"

This won’t get you far when attracting clients, but it doesn’t stop people from trying.
This is the promise of selling commoditized goods and services. “We sell stuff just like everyone else’s, but we’re willing to do it for less and even quicker if possible.”
Meh.
What if, instead, you created a reputation as the person who can honestly say, “You can’t get this from anyone but me?”
Being a commodity is a choice. So is being the story everyone wants to share.
